A wide variety of local produce is grown in our high tunnel and gardens: tomatoes, potatoes, cucumbers, peppers, sweet corn and green beans. Summer sales begin in early June.

Healthy, delicious, wholesome. Venner Farm grows organic grains, vegetables and herbs, and believes in the “Eat Local” philosophy of serving the communities nearest to us.

Mark and Denise began selling produce in 2010 around the Pierre area. Since 2004 they have grown organic certified grains, and today Venner Farm produces high quality, nutritious fresh vegetables, grains and herbs.
Venner Farm is a small farm dedicated to growing food and practicing organic farming methods to improve and sustain the soil for the future. For us, there is no greater reward than being able to share what we grow with others and promoting local, sustainable food production.
In a world where our food travels an average of 1,500 miles to get to your plate, we believe that reconnecting with the source is important.
Our products are sold at the farm as well as wholesale and at farmers markets.

Fresh local herbs grown for your culinary needs: chives, basil, rosemary, dill and parsley.

We produce heirloom grains for all of your milling and baking needs. Lesser and larger quantities and ground products are also available.
